After being raised a Jehovah’s Witness, Lisa devoted her teen years to drinking, drugging, partying, and looking for love in all the wrong places. Luckily (if you believe in luck), her life was snatched out of that pit when she arrived at Loma Linda University, and was befriended by two remarkable students. But it was another five years before she would come face to face with the person of Jesus Christ.
This Sabbath, Lisa shares her remarkable story of finding Freedom in the Kingdom of God. 8:30 AM, FIRST SERVE. Don’t miss it.
Here’s some more things you might not know about Lisa:
Before she took 18 years off to raise and homeschool her children, Lisa worked as an intensive care nurse. She also got licensed as a midwife and delivered over 300 babies in Central Oregon!
Currently, Lisa works part time as a nurse practitioner at Central Oregon Family Medicine. She’s been married to Jim for nearly 29 years, she has five sons, two daughter in-laws, and two grandsons. She enjoys teenagers, reading, music, running, gardening, the mountain wilderness, and communing with the King.
Welcome to the pulpit Lisa.
